Welcome to the homepage of the Silver Lake Robotics Program. Our program is known globally, as we have been to various competitions around the United States, such as the VEX Robotics World Championships in Louisville, Kentucky and the CREATE National Championship in Omaha, NE. In the 2014-2015 season we have 2 teams competing, and 10 teams learning in our program. We are hoping to eventually expand the program.
Our goalSilver Lake Robotics is a small program. We are trying to make our program known well in our school, our community, and our state. Team members have recently been going around presenting to classrooms, and groups outside of our school, such as the Local Boy Scouts of America Troop 49. We have educated kids through our school on what it takes to be in robotics, and what it can do in life. We help mentor our schools learning portion of the club, where kids learn how to build a robot, and make it move.
